Five workshops were conducted to provide training and technical assistance opportunities. The workshop discussions centered on: transit services in minority communities and the concerns of the socially disadvantaged ridership; minority impact in the decision-making process; Minority Business Enterprises' participation in transit; role of minorities in transit labor unions; and training and employment opportunities in the transportation field.
