摘要

The project developed a large scale integrated computerized system for the collection and analysis of public and private perinatal information. Information collected included date, time, and place of birth, sex, maternal age, birthweight, cesarean section, complications, and previous pregnancy history. Nearly 200,000 births were recorded annually.
