Underwater Marine Coatings. Part 2 Marine Biocidal Rubbers Containing Organotin Toxics

A preliminary investigation of the marine biocidal properties of a series of formulations based on three different elastomers containing three readily available tri-n-butyltin compounds was completed using both molded sheets and solution coatings. The results of sea water exposure trials indicate that effective long life coatings could be developed from some of these systems. (Author)
