COMPREHENSIVE TEST METHOD FOR FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITES

The critical importance of specimen alignment in axial compressive testing of fibre reinforced composites has been demonstrated by means of a test using tabbed bar specimens. Using this method compressive strength can be obtained which are significantly higher than those determined by Column type specimens.
