Proposal of an Experiment for the Search of a Force of Baryonic Origin

A baryonic force detector experiment which does not use the Earth but man made source and detector is proposed. The experiment should be able to detect the existence of any force not proportional to the inertial mass with a relative accuracy of 0.00001, independent of the value of lambda, provided it is bigger than the dimensions of the apparatus, i.e., a few meters. The proposal is based on the use of the cryogenic gravitational wave antenna of the Rome group as detector of the near field generated by a source consisting of a rotor which turns at the resonance frequency of the antenna (915 Hz).
