摘要

Flow field calculations in the subsonic and transonic downstream velocity range were performed for a stator and two rotor cascades using a two-dimensional time marching procedure. The convergence behavior of the numerical solution was determined by the time evolution of the homogeneous flow quantities. The evaluation of the local flow quantities allowed the verification of the assumptions on which the simplified methods for the calculation of the homogeneous downstream flow angle are based. The agreement between calculated results and experimental data becomes better when the real experimental conditions are better modelled in the calculation.
