摘要

The effects of nonlinearity due to large deflections on transient measurements of the frequency response characteristics of structures are investigated using direct and indirect Fourier transform analysis techniques. The steady state frequency response function of the nonlinear system is also examined. The frequency response function derived from the impulse response and the response to rapid frequency sweep excitation is studied and the theoretical predictions are compared with results from tests on a simple structure.
