This manual of good practice provides radiation protection guidance for working with tritium and tritium compounds. Users of tritium may wish to adopt these or similar practices to help assure safe operations.nThe good practices presented are based on the experience of the AEC con-tractor laboratories and private industry. The manual provides specificinfor mation that can be useful in establishing and administering safe programs for working with tritium and its compounds. Also, the manual provides those relatively inexperienced in working with tritium with the background of experience that has been developed by other users. This manual concentrates its attention on the good practices required for working with purified tritium and its compounds.
