The scope of the project was limited to exploration of costs related to motor gasoline desulfurization only. While gasoline desulfurization is necessarily related to desulfurization of other products, the explicit identification and quantification of costs for desulfurizing any petroleum product other than motor gasoline was specifically excluded from the scope of this study.
