摘要

Transmission and reflection coefficients of detonation plasmas produced by solid explosives are measured by means of millimeter waves and used to calculate their conductivity and relative permittivity. Because of the limited spatial resolution corresponding to the utilized wavelength of 8.6 mm, no quantitative statement can be made concerning the conductivity profile of the actual detonation front. The method provides only mean values over distances of a few millimeters inside the cloud of gas and smoke following the front. (ERA citation 03:050963)
