THE PUBLIC’S BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDES DURING THE FEBRUARY 1977 ENERGY CRISIS

The survey was conducted on February 4, 5 and 6 by telephone with a national sample of 1013 adults, 18 years of age and older, living in telephone households. Interviews were made in areas making up The Gallup Organization's national probability sample of inter viewing areas. Additional information about the design and composition of the sample will be found in the Technical Appendices at the end of the report, which also includes tables of sampling tolerances to have in mind when reading the report.
