High Pressure Studies with the exp 237 Np(60KEV)-Resonance: Magnetic Properties of NpCo sub 2 Si sub 2

摘要

The first high pressure Moessbauer experiment on a radioactive sample was performed on NpCo sub 2 Si sub 2 . The high pressure cell and the experimental method are described. The measurements carried out up to 35 kbar show that T/sub N/ changes with pressure (from 46.5 to 50K), the hyperfine field remains constant under pressure and the isomer shift decreases linearly with pressure.
