摘要

A number of self-powered flux detectors and coaxial mineral insulated cables have been irradiated in a Gammacell irradiator to study their dynamic response. The response of these devices is not perfectly prompt. The delayed response is attributed to the filling of trapping centres in the insulation of the cables. It is concluded that similar delayed effects will not impair the effectiveness of self-powered detectors in control and safety systems of nuclear reactors. (Atomindex citation 12:629971)
