摘要

A focused proton beam of up to 2 x 10 exp 10 w/cm exp 2 was obtained using pinch-reflex ion diode connected to Reiden IV generator. Experiments of beam target interaction have been done using thin foil targets. In this power range the interaction was explained classically. The experimental dependence of ablation pressure on proton beam intensity was obtained as P sub(a) = 3 x 10 exp -3 I sup(0.7) bar (I in w/cm exp 2 ). (Atomindex citation 14:721914)
