Research carried out under this contract period has focused on: (1) the examination of the kinetics of an intraresin reaction, (2) the development of the principle of triphase catalytic cyclization, (3) synthetic applications of simple poly(ethylene glycol)s to organic synthesis and (4) the development of soluble and polymeric mercury-based reagents.
