Hadronic Shift of the Six Quark Dibaryon lambda lambda

A detailed investigation of the influence of the hadronic channels lambda lambda , N> and sigma sigma on the mass of the doubly strange lambda lambda bag is presented. The following positions of the bag-model eigenstate are considered: (1) below the lambda lambda threshold, (2) between the thresholds of the lambda lambda and N> channels, (3) between the thresholds N> and sigma sigma , (4) and the continuous spectrum of all hadronic channels. It is shown that the coupling to the hadronic channels do have a marked influence on the position of the bag-model state. In case (1) the bag model state is pulled down in energy by 150-200 MeV, in cases (2) and (3) the state is shifted down into the region below the lambda lambda threshold, and in case (4) the state may become broad.
