Cross Section Asymmetry of the gamma n Yields pi sup - p Reaction by Polarized Photons in the Third and Fourth Resonance Regions

The polirized beam asymmetry for the gamma n -> pi sup - p reaction was measured in the energy range 0.85-1.7 GeV at pi -meson c.m. angles between 45 deg and 90 deg.
