Final Report on Improved N15 Analyser NOI-6E

This report gives a general view of the computerized NOI-6e nitrogen analyzer. The construction of the new prototype is described. The new version of the N15 analyzer together with the microcomputer program which has been developed improves the convenience of operation and also has high reliability. Many practical test measurements have been made. The most important result is the remarkable reduction of the standard deviation sigmasub(x): a standard deviation of less than 0.5% is achieved. We have not found such a low standard deviation in descriptions of similar analyzers which use emission spectroscopy. (Atomindex citation 16:078363)
