Theory of Photo- and Electroproduction of Mesons: Problems and Prospects

The state of theoretical understandings of the photo- and electroproduction of pions from nucleons is reviewed, with particular emphasis on the unitarity and dynamics. Understandings of these processes in the delta region are summarized, with emphasis on the hadron structure. Some problems and prospects for future studies of the high-energy photo- and electroproduction of mesons at CEBAF are discussed. 35 refs., 7 figs., 2 tabs. (ERA citation 11:010366)
