Investigations of the Structure and Electromagnetic Interaction of Few-Body Systems

Progress is reported in these areas: gamma sup 3 He -> pd in the 200 to 400 MeV region; application of the Austern model to the reactions gamma sup 3 He -> pd, pi sup 03 He -> pd; analyzing power in pd -> gamma sup 3 He at intermediate energies; elastic and inelastic electron scattering from sup 6 Li; quasielastic electron and proton scattering from sup 6 Li; higher shell orbitals in sup 6 Li in jj and LS coupling and the magnetic moment of sup 6 Li from three-body models; suplanation of the binding energy difference between the ground and first excited state of the A = 4 lambda -hypernuclei; the asymptotic normalization constants for sup 4 He -> n+ sup 3 He and sup 4 He -> d + d; low-energy two body photodisintegration of sup 3 He and sup 3 H; photodisintegration of the deuteron; and photodisintegration of the trinculeon at intermediate energies.
