摘要

Magnetization and the spatial variation of magnetic flux in a single crystal of Bi(sub 2)Sr(sub 2)Ca(sub 1)Cu(sub 2)O(sub x) were studied by using a high contrast magneto-optical observation method (HICOM). Flux penetration, temperature dependence of trapped flux and flux creep have been observed by HICOM. Results show the breakdown of flux pinning and the spatial pinning variation related to sample inhomogeneities.
