Our organization's primary product is information, and we can deliver that product with much greater effect if we write with skill and with care. This is not about where to place commas, but instead about fundamental considerations such as what information to present and how to organize and express it. In this guide, I present 14 principles to help authors resolve such matters and produce documents that are simple, clear, and convincing.
