摘要

A discrete-element displacement method is developed for the static or dynamic analysis of core-stiffened shells of revolution for asymmetric mechanical loading. The discrete-element mass, stiffness, and consistent nodal force matrices are developed. The solution of the static problem for both restrained and unrestrained structures is discussed. Several example problems are solved to illustrate the usefulness of the method. A FORTRAN IV computer program for performing the static analysis is given. (Author)
