Preparation of DC Electroluminescent ZnS Phosphors.

The preparation of ZnS:Mn dc electroluminescent powders is described,the major process variables are identified and their empirical optimum values are described. The best phosphors produced have a brightness of 90 footlamberts at a bias voltage of 200volts. (Author)
