摘要

Consideration and initiating structure are two dimensions of leader behavior identified by Ohio State studies. Other studies have suggested that certain job-related variables may interact with consideration and initiating structure in the job environment. This research effort proposed a relationship between each of the two leader dimensions and the variables of phase of weapons acquisition life cycle, job satisfaction, organizational climate, tenure, assignment status, military/civilian status, leader grade, hierarchical level, and organizational size. The sample consisted of Air Force System Program Office managers located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and the data were obtained from questionnaire responses gathered by three previous thesis teams.
