Evaluation of the Effect of Low-Level GB Exposure on Testicular Atrophy in the Fischer 344Rat.

A 6-month study was conducted to determine whether low doses of GB have an effect on the rate of testicular atrophy in the Fischer 344rat. All environmental differences were eliminated between groups. Based on comparisons with controls no significant differences in mean testicular weights or histopathologic findings could be demonstrated among treatment groups after 12or 24weeks of subcutaneous or intraperitoneal exposure to low doses of GB.
