In this report methods of calculation of gas-phase fugacities, which are required in the analysis of equilibrium data on NH3-CO2-H2S-H2O system, are discussed. Vapor-liquid equilibrium in NH3-H2S-H20 subsystem is investi¬gated further.nVarious correlations for estimating the calorific value of coal from its elemental composition are evaluated per se and by use of modified Parr basis for mineral matter correction. The formulas are also applied separately to different ranks of coal as a step toward finding the best correlation.nEnthalpy data of a coal liquid (Western Kentucky syncrude) are given as a function of temperature and pressure.
