Lesson 36 will review the major military standards and specifications which have been referenced throughout the course; a detailed bibliography is presented in the supplement. Lesson 37 will review how human factors engineering takes place. An overview of the purpose and function of various military human factors organizations will be presented. In addition, some of the more prominent civilian organizations will be examined. Lesson 38 and 39 will present the opportunity to apply much of the knowledge gained throughout the course. These lessons will take the trainee through the process of acquiring a major system and will show how the human factors specialist applies his skills. Lesson 40 will be equivalent to a final exam. The purpose, will be to help integrate all the topics studied in the previous lessons.
