Study to Design a System to Identify Handicapped Family Members of Active Duty Soldiers at Fort Benning, Georgia

摘要

The provision of medical care to handicapped family members of active duty personnel requires the use of specialized personnel, facilities, and equipment. It is in the best interests of the Army to provide this care in the most efficient manner possible. This involves the consolidation of medical resources to provide specialized care at the military installations which have the greatest need. This study is an effort to determine the optimal feasible system to identify the number of handicapped family members of active duty soldiers by name and to categorize them by medical diagnosis or handicap condition. Although conducted for Fort Benning, This study contributed to solving a problem identified at Department of the Army level. (kr)
