Electron-Phonon Interaction and Polaron Effects in Structures of Reduced Dimension and Dimensionality

摘要

Some aspects of the theory of the electron-phonon interaction and polaron phenomena are reviewed for semiconductor and oxide systems of reduced dimension and dimensionality. Emphasis is on high-T_c oxides and optical properties of semiconductor nanocrystals.
