Emeryville—Te masek Holdings has invested $47.8-million in Amyris Bio-technologies to help fund the production of renewable chemi-cals and transportation fuels. Amyris said it intends to use the funds to support commer-cial plant design and construction activities, as well as ongo-ing operations in the U.S. and Brazil.
