China BlueChemieal Resumes Output At Hainan Urea, Methanol Facilities

Hainan-China BlueChemieal Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), announced that production has been restarted at its Fudao Phase II urea plant and the CNOOC Ji-antao methanol plant in Hainan (PCN, 3 Dec 07, p 1). The 800,000-t/y urea facility and 600,000-t/y methanol unit returned to "normal operations" on 29 Dec. and 30 Dec, respectively, the company said.
