Rhodia Decides to Cease Production At Mississauga Polyamide Plant

Ports-Rhodia said it will discontinue production of its polyamide-based engineering plastics in Mississauga, Canada. The company will transfer the manufacturing of nylon 6 and its nylon 6,6 Technyl brand portfolio, through a tolling agreement, to Alloy Polymers. Rhodia noted it will continue producing polymers and surfactants, sold by Novecare Enterprise, at the site.
