Rhodia to increase polyamide yarn production in Brazil by 20%

Rhodia Fibras, a member of the international chemcial group Solvay, is to increase its polyamide 6.6 yarn production for textile and industrial applications by 20%. The increase in production, which will take place in phases until the end of 2013, includes use of the latest generation machinery and equipment installed at the plant owned by Tork (formerly Ledervin), in Osasco, Sao Paulo state, Brazil, in a deal entered into between the two companies.
