Johannesburg—South Africa's Competition Tribunal has confirmed the settlement agreement between the Competition Commission of South Africa and Sasol Nitro related to allegations of abuse and dominance in Sasol's fertilizer business (PCN, 19 July 2010, p 2).Under the agreement, Sasol will restructure its fertilizer assets, withdrawing from certain downstream activities and focusing more on the core activities of the business.
