Teijin Fibers, Showa Shell Sekiyu Agree To Establish Paraxylene Sales Venture

Tokyo-Teijin Fibers Ltd. and Showa Shell Sekiyu KK have signed an agreement to establish TS Aromatics Ltd. as a joint venture for the sales of paraxylene. TS Aromatics, to be owned 50.1% by Teijin, 44.9% by Showa Shell and 5% by Mitsubishi Corp., will begin operations on 1 Apr. 2008.
