DuPont number one on list of top 100 corporate air polluters

The Political Economy Research Institute (PERI) at the University of Massachusetts recently released an updated list of the "Toxic 100"— the top corporate air polluters in the United States — and DuPont is in the number one spot. "The Toxic 100 informs consumers and shareholders which large corporations release the most toxic pollutants into our air," James K. Boyce, director of the institute's environment program, said in an April 10 statement. "We measure not just how many pounds of pollutants are released, but which are the most toxic and how many people are at risk."
