摘要

Farm workers in Mexico participating in a study based at Avenida Instituo Politecnico Nacional showed a high incidence of abnormal follical-stimulating hormone (FSH) concentrations.Sixty-four male farm workers participated in the study, and more than 80% were shown to have at least one organophosphorus pesticide in their blood or urine.About 48% of the men had FSH concentrations out of the normal range, with highest FSH levels coinciding with periods of heavy pesticide usage. The study also noted a negative association between luteinizing hormone (LH) and one OP metabolite.
