Evidence-based physics beyond materialism

For physics to be universally useful, it should make as few suppositions as possible, and when possible, be based on something we have experiential evidence for. So far, however, because of physics' reliance on materialism, we make assumptions without any objective evidence to base them on. We assume the existence of things such as matter but have no real evidence of its objective existence independent of our conception of it. In this article, we examine the validity of such assumptions and propose a more ample and credible basis for physics. What we call a more credible basis for physics is one that is based on actual experiential evidence, as opposed to suppositions. It does not automatically subscribe to the limitations of materialism. Instead it rests on the certainty that there is consciousness. This proposition is not new or original as a way of conceiving of existence, but it would be new and original if applied to the discipline of physics.
