摘要

The permeability variation characteristic was measured by laboratory flow experiments, and a newly developed pressure gradient-varying permeability (PGVP) numerical simulator was used to Chang8 reservoir. The primary goal is to put the PGVP simulator into field application. Seven well plans were designed based on a history-matching geological model to identify the optimum condition for converting the diamond-shape inverted nine-spot well pattern to a live-spot well pattern. The comprehensive comparison and analysis of oil saturation and dimensionless permeability coefficient distribution in different well plans were provided. The simulation results also provide reference to the application of permeability variation numerical simulation in low-permeability reservoir.
