Full gas production from Juliet field

GDF Suez (operator, 51.56%) has commenced gas production from the second of two development wells on the Juliet field, a subsea development on the western flank of the Southern Gas Basin. This follows first gas from the initial development well at the start of the year. The field is now producing at a plateau rate of 80mn cf/d, equivalent to 400,000 barrels a month. The fast track project was delivered in a time frame of less than 18 months from sanction to first gas. Produced gas is being transported by a 22-km long pipeline to the Pickerill A platform and then transported onshore via the existing export pipeline to the Theddlethorpe gas terminal. Juliet has gross associated reserves of 11.6mn boe and lies in block 47/14b, licence P614. Field partners are First Oil Expro (29.44%) and Hansa Hydrocarbons (19%).
