Due to the subsequent receipt of updated data following publication of the Retail Marketing Survey 2013 alongside last month's issue of Petroleum Review, some of the tabulated data has been amended, such as the table below (which appears on p10 of the supplement). Most importantly, it should be noted that there were 8,714 operational service stations in the UK at end-December, with the number of supermarket sites rising to 1,338, of which a total of 496 outlets were Tesco branded.
