joined the 'Challenge Programme' at BP as a Graduate Chemist, having spent the previous year working as a synthetic organic chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. I found it enjoyable to apply the chemistry which I had learnt at university in a commercial setting. For this reason, I decided to continue working in industry. Working at BP has allowed me to continue practicing chemistry and it is even more exciting to see the final product you helped to create on the shelf or at a petrol station.
