摘要

Chemical and pesticide industry stakeholders welcomed President Obama's call this week for increased oversight of federal regulations, hailing his call for EPA and other agencies to carefully analyze existing and pending rules to ensure economic interests are fairly balanced with environmental and public health concerns. But industry praise for the new executive order is at best cautious, as there is little expectation the directive will result in sweeping changes to policy or the regulatory process.
