摘要

Shaun Polczer, CALGARY: A US natural gas producer is poised to sue the Canadian government over a ban on hydraulic fracturing (tracking) in the province of Quebec. Delaware-based Lone Pine Resources, through its wholly-owned Canadian subsidiary, confirmed that it has applied to submit an arbitration claim under the North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) in response to the expropriation of a 33,460 acre drilling lease in the St Lawrence River valley.
