Speed, style and sounds, the big three, the tuner s trifecta, when it comes to building the ultimate show and go machine, getting all three aspects sorted isn't nearly as easy as it sounds. How many times have you seen a killer show car that couldn't pull the skin of off the proverbial rice pudding on the track? Throwing in some monkey bars and a dirty great big tach on the dash doesn't mean a thing if you haven't got the ponies to back up the looks. Let's not forget the track terrors, all big spoilers and sponsor stickers, race numbers and plastic windows, swift on the straights and quick in the corner no doubt, but slow them down and have a good look; a bit more dodgy paint, gaffa tape and zip ties than you might expect. We won't even go into the multitudes of amped up speaker farms running about vibrating their number plate off in the local high street, perfect for annoying the neighbours and calling out the cops, but we've heard better sound quality out of the average ice cream van.
