You might think that writing show reports is one of the more straightforward tasks we face every month here in the PVW office, in the grand scheme of things how hard can writing a show report actually be? And true, they're not as difficult as writing, say, a feature on someone's pride and joy that they've spent years and heaps of money on. But at the same time, they're not as simple as they look, either. Think about it, how do you make what is essentially the same thing over and over again interesting? Cars in a field, cars in an exhibition hall, cars in a, well, car park... you get the picture. And as tempting as it might be, you can't just copy and paste last year's text from the same show and change the dates and a few names; although the thought has crossed our minds at times. See the thing is, all anyone really cares about is looking at the photos; you know that, we know that. So this year we're trying to keep things a little simpler and a little shorter and focus more on the photos rather than waffling on for the sake of it. What's that they say? A picture paints a thousand words? Well, by our maths, six pages worth of photos should do the job just fine then.
