摘要

Hemorrhagic complications during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) are of major concern in the intensive care unit because they are common and are associated with significant additional morbidity and mortality . Postoperative patients, and in particular cardiac patients, are at high risk for these complications given the coagulopathy, platelet dysfunction, and fibrinolysis that can occur after cardiopulmonary bypass and the required anticoagulation during ECMO
