Baltic Countries' Peat Producers' Forum in Lithuania

The anniversary Baltic Countries' Peat Producers' Forum 2010 was held on 2-4 September 2010 at the spa hotel "AQUA" in Druskininkai, Lithuania. The main theme of the semimar was Alternative Use of Peat. The forum has received a lot of attention. There were 190 participants from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Netherlands, Belarus, Israel, Czech Republic, Finland and other countries. It was the best forum ever. Amongst other honourable guests there were representatives from the European Peat and Growing Media Association (EPAGMA) as well as the International Peat Society (IPS). Among the attendees were also representatives of Lithuanian State officials-the Ministry of Environment, an industry confederation, etc.
