Loop sorters have claimed a strong position among airport baggage handling systems thanks to their robust design and ability to handle high throughputs, including baggage of many different shapes and sizes. Where automated sorting was until recently reserved mainly for larger airports, compact new systems have brought the same benefits of cost, time and labour savings together with improved sorting quality to many smaller and medium-sized airports.
